Weola

Most children first learn of the Weola from a whispered nursery rhyme:

Weola, weola,
Don't come out to play.
Weola, weola,
Don't take my baby away.

The weola are small, chubby humanoids with sharp claws and extremely pointed teeth. They have very dark skin, with awkward tufts of fur sticking out of random areas of their bodies. They tend to make their lairs in abandoned buildings or other places very near villages or cites, as these location allow them easy access to their favorite prey: children.

Weola, which usually feed upon common woodland creatures, like to steal into homes during the dead of night and steal babies or small children. They are very stealthy beings, avoiding contact with other creatures as much as possible, including their own kind. Most of what is known about the evil creatures comes only from stories and nursery rhymes. They are typically 4 to 5 feet tall, and weigh 300 pounds. A few weola have been known to be able to speak the Common tongue.
COMBAT

Weola are very cowardly creatures. They generally only engage in combat when they think they can win a fight without getting hurt. If confronted with hostile swords or sorcery, Weola will always attempt to flee danger by any means necessary, usually by magic.

Spell-Like Abilities: Weola can use dimension door once per day as cast by a 7th-level sorcerer

Bloodwyverns

Bloodwyverns resemble nasty little black dragons no bigger than a human hand. However, they are extremely evil and dangerous little creatures, particularly when attacking as part of a swarm. They usually live underground, particularly in volcanic caves. They have a fondness for treasure, particularly rare gemstones, and will pile away the treasures of their victims in small crevices and fissures throughout their lairs.

COMBAT

Bloodwyverns always hide from their intended victims, letting their unsuspecting foes pass by their lairs before unleashing a surprise assault from the rear. Bloodwyverns will unleash their breath weapon attacks first, and then move in with their biting attacks attempting to drain as much blood from their victims as quickly as possible. If in a swarm, bloodwyverns will concentrate their attacks entirely on one victim before moving on to the next, starting with the strongest available victim and working down towards the weakest. (It should be noted, however, that while the blood drain attack of the bloodwyvern is similar to that of a vampire, the attack itself is not vampiric and bloodwyverns are not undead creatures.)

Blood Drain (Ex): A bloodwyvern can suck the blood from a living victim by making a successful biting attack. Once bitten, the bloodwyvern can drain blood, inflicting 1d3 points of permanent Constitution drain. Each successive bite attack in later rounds allows the bloodwyvern to continue draining both blood and Constitution at the same rate.

Breath Weapon (Ex): Bloodwyverns only have one type of breath weapon, a small cone of corrosive, acidic gas. This cone extends outward 10 ft. and inflicts 2d4 points of damage, with a DC of 13.

Spell-Like Abilities (Ex): Bloodwyverns are completely immune to all forms of charm, paralysis, and sleep spells.
